In 1981, McFall General Agency was started from scratch with zero premiums and zero business as a multi-line general agency servicing retail agents in Oregon.  Later McFall General expanded into Washington and Idaho territories.

Today 25 years later, we employ 40 people and operate in three states (Oregon, Washington and Idaho) and have three offices, one in Oregon, and two in Washington.

Our volume approaches $17,000,000+ annually from some 400 agents.  McFall General currently has brokerage agreements with more than 1,200 agents in three states but as the old adage goes, "80% of your volume is written from 20% of the agency force".

Even with a tightening marketplace McFall General Agency has not closed opportunities for new agents to apply for Brokerage Agreements, however, there must be a significant commitment on the part of the new applicants for agreements.

McFall General strives for simplification in which contracted agents are able to do business by use of e-mail, fax and 800 lines for both voice and fax lines, applications may be faxed, mailed or e-mailed.

McFall General believes in technology and will either provide written quotations by fax or by e-mail to their clients.

McFall General does no retail business. We are committed to the wholesale segment of the industry.

McFall General continues to look for opportunities to provide programs in Personal Lines (without credit scoring), Transportation & Garage, Property & Casualty, Inland Marine, Umbrella & Excess Liability, Products Liability, Professional Liability & Directors and Officers Liability, not only from Excess and Surplus Lines Companies but from Preferred Standard and Specialty companies, both admitted and non-admitted 'A' rated companies.
